.. in 26 years I’m not able to hug my lil brother on his birthday.. because he’s in the UK for professional reasons.. miss the lil stinker.. Happy Birthday, Brüderchen!

When I picked up the girls from kindergarten yesterday, they told me that the mom of one of their lil friends has died. I feel so sad for the family although I did not know the woman. I only met her husband every now and then when he dropped off their kids. The lil girl is in the same age as my Jessi is, the son starts school next week. I don´t know the circumstances, only what the kids told me: that she´s been careless while crossing rails. What a tragedy!
I told my kids to be very kind to the lil girl, to be charitable and not to wrangle, so they do not increase her heartaches.
May god bless their souls and give them the strength to go through these dark days now.

Live like there is no tomorrow. Enjoy every single moment, because life can be so sudden.
