What a busy Monday! Since we plan to go to the US next year for vacation, we´re in need of a passport for the girls. So the first thing in the morning was a visit at the photographer to have passport photos taken for them. While waiting for the photos to be printed, the lady asked us if we would like to take advantage of the special they had going on – a children photo shooting with no additional costs for the shooting itself (usually you have to pay a fee of at least 40 Euro). The girls were in a great mood and we were the second in the row, so we agreed. They took wonderful snapshots, can´t wait to see the finished results next week!

Right after the photo session, we headed over to the city hall to apply for the passports. Each girl handed her parent´s agreement and her passport photo to the lady by herself.. how cute!
On our way back to the car, we met my best buds mom (waving to Sandi) and had a small chat with her.

Around noon it was time for Angelina´s enrollment test. We all were a bit excited since this was our first visit at the school. But everything went great, she answeres all questions without any problems. I´m so very proud! Only 10 more months and my little baby will be a schoolgirl

Hard to believe, but there are only 41 more sleeps to Christmas I seriously need to start making a gift list! Already bought a few little things for the girls, plus this for Jessi and this for Angelina. I´m sure both will be thrilled!

The girls are very sensitive when it comes to children in need. So we participated in the Operation Christmas Child (Weihnachten im Schuhkarton). We decided to support a girl in their age. We bought useful little things and toys, pink wrapping paper and some decorative stickers. Angelina carried the box all the way to the Dropp Off Point. And both girls were so very proud when the lady praised them for our beautiful decorated shoe box! It´s very important for me to teach my kids that we can be grateful for the things we have and the life we live. And to make the world a better place by helping others…

Btw, Happy Birthday, Dad!

It´s been a while.. once again.. huh? LOL.. Alot of things are going on here.
My brother is in the process of buying a house! He signed the papers this week, so it´s only a few more weeks. I´m so darn proud.. he´s only 26! The house he´s buying is a farmhouse, built in 1900. It´s in a good condition, although there´s alot to renovate.. but hey, we´re all good with our hands Read the rest of this entry »

Sorry, didn´t feel like plurkin bloggin for a while. It´s just the daily routine that is going on here, nothing spectacular.

My best bud urges me all the time to make several doctors appointments that are long overdue. I know, she´s right and it´s so important to get the annual preventive medical checkup done, but I HATE doctors and everything around them. But this week I plucked up the courage and arranged these appointments. My buddie will be veeery proud of me

Started several craft projects, but due to this blah-ness most things are still unfinished. It´s a pain At least I managed to style the wrapping of the lil lavender tea bag sachets that are available in my craft shop (click on thumbnail):
